Nasty Track

Troy Beetles is my home boy (I wish).  If there was any producer I wish I was friends with it would be him, I don’t know why, he just seems like a bad ass.  Not only this, but he has been producing some amazing tunes for years.  Another artist hailing from Canada, Datsik has got to be in my top 5 favorite producers.  His set at EDC (see video) was one of the most memorable of the whole festival.   Yesterday brought the release of Datsik‘s newest remix Kick Out The Epic Motherfucker (preview featured on an earlier post), and this song is dirty!  He does dubstep right, not too glitchy and super heavy.  The second song below, The Power, rocks the moombahton and is a good example of Datsik‘s diversity in style.  Finally, from way back in the day (relatively), Gizmo, a song that kindled my love for the dark and heavy side of dubstep.  If you like what you’ve heard so far check out  his recently released album “Vitamin D” featuring a variety of artists and styles – disregard the unfortunate song with Infected Mushroom and the singer from Korn (we’ll forget about this one).
