InsideInfo

When Camo & Krooked came out with their remix album “Between the Lines,” I was super excited to get my hands on it.  Though many of the remixes were done well in my opinion, one truly stood out, the remix of Anubis by InsideInfo.  This song is totally different than what I expected and even turns out better than the original.  Make sure you have a good sound system to listen to this song on because the bass definitely makes it. It almost sounds like a bubble that’s shrinking and growing, maybe that’s just me though… Hailing from London, InsideInfo brings a unique sound to the Drum & Bass scene that I can get down to.  This is immediately apparent in his track Didgeridoo where he actually uses a didgeridoo sound that doubles as the bass line.  I’m definitely loving it.  Grow starts out with a chill intro and then drops into InsideInfo’s unique style of Drum & Bass.  For some reason, the snare is my favorite part of the whole song.  Loud and crisp, it steals the show.  The samples in the intro to Bottled do a great job of setting the mood in this song.  As they fade out, the bass wobble creeps in and then drops into a bouncy track.  All the small additions and samples that InsideInfo adds in – bottles uncorking, water droplets, and more – really complete the overall feel to this song.
