Austin Zajur and Nick Morrison are two youngsters out of Richmond Virginia who love to rage dubstep. They first tried their hand at a traditional style band, Comfortably Eccentric, with Nick on the guitar and drums while Austin rocked the vocals. Finding a true passion for dubstep they left the band and never looked back, thus creating the DJ duo group MaMMaLs! These two can barely drive and have awhile to get past that American legal drinking age, sitting at 16 years old these two look like they came straight out of middle school. Even though they may be young they still can produce some solid songs and throw down some filthy remixes, making some great clean music with a fresh taste on dubstep! MaMMaLs remix of The Brothers Johnson‘s “Strawberry Letter 23” is my favorite song from their soundcloud as they throw down some sick electro beats to the funky original. Their original “Millions” is a chilled out dubstep song that brings together a great mix of classic dub sounds and light vocals. ”Take me Away” is another great original track of theirs which reminds me a little bit of Adventure Club, with a super clean and smooth beat, keeping a calm tempo throughout the song. Last but not least is their newest track on soundcloud “Mind is Everything” an awesome song bringing some dirty drum and bass into the mix!
